QUESTIONS, CONTACT MATT MULLENBACH

Remember, by MSHSL rule, an athlete may participate in a maximum of four events, with no more than three field or three running events, and not more than two events 800 meters or above, including relays. Penalty for infraction is disqualification of the individual from all events, including relays.

SCRATCH/ADDS: There will be opportunity to scratch or add runners at the coaches meeting prior to the meet. However, once the coach’s meeting is over, there can only be scratches, no more additions, or substitutions in individual events. (In other words, other than relays, a different athlete may not replace a scratched athlete). Because the lanes and heats are seeded by computer, any additions you make at the coaches meeting will not be guaranteed an appropriate heat or lane.

EQUIPMENT: Please bring your own relay batons and implements.

WORKERS: Each participating school must each recruit three to four workers to staff the meet. There will be an important workers’ meeting at 9 a.m. near the finish line to give instructions and distribute clipboards with scoring sheets.
