Class A State True Team Meet

Meet: State True Team Meet - Class A Girls
Date: Saturday, May 21st, 2016
Place: Stillwater High School (5701 Stillwater Blvd N, Oak Park Heights, MN 55082) - from Trinity you will take 494 East for about 22 miles...through where it turns into 694 North to MN Hwy 36, take the MN Hwy 36 East for about 6 miles, then take the exit for Stillwater Blvd North and go right (south). Stillwater high school should be one block ahead on your right (east) on 58th Street North.
Time: Athletes should be at Stillwater no later than 8:45am, to setup camp and get ready.  We will have the girls team walk a lap, jog 2 laps and do their active warmup together.  We seem to have a hard time getting loose at the morning meets, so we are hoping this helps.  By 9:30am we will be able to do run-throughs and practice for field events.  Field events start at 10:00am, running events start at 11:00am.

Schools Participating - Class A Girls: Blue Earth Area, Frazee, Holdingford, Lake City, Luverne, Park Rapids Area, Pierz, Osakis, Trinity School at River Ridge

Admission: Adults $8, Students $5
There will also be State True Team t-shirts for sale for $15.

Workers need to arrive at Stillwater by 8:45am as well to report for your work assignments.

Spike Rule:  1/4 pyramid spikes and smaller are allowed.

Scoring:  True Team scoring is unique in that each place is worth points to the team.
Individuals: 16 (1st place) - 15 (2nd place) - 14 (3rd place) - etc...down to 1 (16th place)
Relays: 27 (1st place) - 24 (2nd place)- 21 (3rd place) - etc...down to 3 (9th place)

Lineups and Event Entries:
Things could be very fluid depending on the way the meet goes.  Many athletes are prepared to compete in a variety of events, knowing that things might change as the meet unfolds.
