It ended up being a colder and rainy night on Friday, April 24th, so the pole vault was moved indoors.
Jalia was able to compete against 16 of the best pole vaulters in Minnesota, regardless of Class (A or AA) and held her own against tough competition.
Opening height was 9'9", which is even higher than starting height at the State Meet. Jalia was able to clear 9'9", but not 10'3"...even though she had two great attempts.
