Organized practice cancelled now today

Hello,

So, the JV meet today was cancelled...not postponed, cancelled not to be rescheduled.  And now we have decided to cancel organized practice as well.

The gym is already in use until 6pm and there is an art event in half of the gym, so we would be stuck with 80+ kids in half of a gym to practice at night the day before a meet, unless we want to run out in the rain and 40-degree weather.

I am asking athletes to get a workout in on their own today.  For athletes competing tomorrow, please don't overdo it.

Here are some rough plans for the workout today on your own:
Distance workout - Active Warmup, Stretch, 30-40 minute easy run, 4x100m strides
Sprints workout - Active Warmup, Stretch, Sprint Warmup, 20 minute easy jog, 4x100m strides

We will see you at St. Thomas Academy for the meet tomorrow.

Catholic School Championships JV Meet Cancelled

We were informed this morning that the JV meet for the Catholic School Championships on Thursday at St. Thomas Academy is cancelled because of the rain and cold.

We will have practice at Trinity from 5:30-7:00pm today instead.

We also have a handful of athletes that were planning to compete on Thursday, that will now compete on Friday instead:
