Class A Girls - Wildcard Results

Hello,

As you know, the Trinity Girls team is involved in the Wildcard runoff to try and earn the final team spot for the Class A True Team meet next Saturday, May 17th.  The 'Wildcard Meet' is a meet scored on paper of the second place teams from each of the Section True Team meets.

Here are the results:
1st - 371.5 - Pine Island - Section 1   
2nd - 349.5 - Montevideo - Section 5   
3rd - 320 - Park Rapids Area - Section 8   
4th - 304 - Canby - Section 3   
5th - 298 - United South Central - Section 2   
6th - 269 - Trinity - Section 4   
7th - 212.5 - Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale - Section 6   
8th - 200.5 - Pillager - Section 7

Pine Island ended up claiming the Wildcard title.  Trinity had a fantastic Section True Team meet and should be very proud of finishing 2nd, just a year removed from losing 7 of our top 8 scorers from last season.

I am excited for the future with this young and talented group for both the Boys and Girls teams.
